The Fever 333 - Made An America
The Fever 333 is the supergroup that the world needs right now. Combining former letlive. vocalist Jason Butler, former The Chariot guitarist Stephen Harrison, and Night Verses’ drummer Aric Improta the trio is making waves as the voice of change in music. The debut EP by the group, Made An America, is the culmination of the United States’ tumultuous last few years. Recognizing the uneasy ground that the country, and even the world at large, is treading The Fever 333 has come in to incite change through music, art, and activism.
A stream of single releases throughout the last year prefaced the EP with each new track being an ever-escalating battle-cry for the people. Early tracks like “We’re Coming In” and “Hunting Season” held the frenetic energy of political hard-rock predecessors Rage Against the Machine with brutally candid lyricism from vocalist Jason Butler. The EP as a whole proves to be a tell-all account of police brutality, urban violence, and political exploitation that requires mobilization by the people. The band is not focused solely on the music, however, and promises to be directly involved in activism by being on the forefront of political/social movements.
Be sure to check out the EP (Apple Music/Spotify) and if you have the good fortune of The Fever 333 playing live in your town, do not miss it.

I had no idea that they formed a new band with themselves! Great find. I’d be interested in your take of another super group called the new basement tapes.

I checked out their song, "Walking in My Shoes". The feel I got from it was one of a terrible Naruto AMV created in the early 2000's, so pretty good band by my standards

Spotify started pushing me in the direction to listen to bands like The Fever 333 and I am really digging the message. I'm with you about this movement.
I think these next few years are bound to be spectacular or utterly terrifying. I'm just excited that I'll be around to witness it.

They feel like the logical descendant of Rage even in a world where Prophets of Rage exist.

Silvexo- Have you checked out Run the Jewels 3? So much good political commentary on that album it’s insane.
Jeremy- I totally agree!
