Sparrow Sleeps

If you’re like me, you probably enjoy some noise while you’re trying to fall asleep. Sure, a little ambience from a fan or the chirping of crickets helps, but I need more than that. Most nights I have some music playing through my phone, ultra-quietly, as I drift into dreamland. The only issue there is that I have to build entire playlists to make sure the tracks I’m streaming aren’t pumping me up to the point of wanting to open up the pit or hitting me in the feels so hard I move into the fetal position and cry myself to sleep. If only we had lullabies for adults?! OH, Sparrow Sleeps has us covered! Well, they might not be designated totally for adults, but I, as a grown man of 25, can listen to ethereal marimba and piano covers of my favorite artists all night and day. That’s the best thing about Sparrow Sleeps: the two dudes who are making these tracks have incredible taste in music. The albums they release are compilations of the best tracks by your favorite artists including: Brand New, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, City and Colour, Bayside, Motion City Soundtrack, Alkaline Trio, Kevin Devine, I Am the Avalanche, and many more! The albums are a nice bit of ambiance to unwind to, trying to place the title of the song with the tune. I can only imagine how rewarding it is for parents to get their children’s music tastes blossoming at such a young age while getting to enjoy renditions of tracks they grew up on. The steady stream of releases by Sparrow Sleeps are always relaxing, enjoyable, and fun to explore so check them out wherever you stream (Apple Music/Spotify/YouTube) and follow them on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter!
